carafem was founded in 2013 and has provided quality abortion care to tens of thousands of satisfied clients both in brick and mortar health centers and online in our Virtual Visit Center. carafem is a leading national provider of reproductive healthcare services. Our standards and guidelines are approved by the National Abortion Federation’s Board of Directors and physicians.
Our staff provides clear, non-judgmental, and accurate information so you feel confident. We believe new technology, such as online scheduling, text-based support, and telehealth tools, conveniently brings information to your fingertips. Clients spend their time one-on-one with their health care provider — not in a waiting room.
On average, clients spend 30 minutes in a video visit, 55 minutes in a health center for abortion pill appointments, and less than 90 minutes for in-office procedures.
